Rob was born in South Africa in 1959. Educated at
Kearsney College Natal. After School Rob
completed an engineering diploma with the South
African Post office specialising in digital
communications.
Rob moved to the UK in 1989 and shortly after co-founded a hi-tech software company called Atlantech Technologies. The company specialised in emerging broadband technologies and Rob won a UK DTI Smart award in 1992 for creative technology. The company was sold to Cisco Systems USA in 2000 and Rob has since turned his attention to his artistic endeavours.
